I’m very excited to have Jenova Chen, President & Creative Director at thatgamecompany, visiting our class “CTIN492 Experimental Game Topics” on Friday, and would like to invite members of the USC community (enrolled USC students, staff and faculty) to come along and hear him reprise his DICE Keynote for us!
thatgamecompany, founded by Jenova Chen and fellow USC IMD graduate Kellee Santiago, among other talented friends, recently swept the board at the prestigious D.I.C.E. Awards, winning in a total of eight categories, including “Game of the Year”. Jenova will describe the “Theories Behind Journey”, as well as fielding questions from the audience.
We’ll be meeting at 2pm on Friday March 1st, in USC’s Robert Zemeckis Center for Digital Arts (RZC), Room 122. I hope you can join us!
Over the summer, someone (I wish I could remember who!) tweeted this inspiring image.
It speaks volumes of wisdom, especially for anyone struggling with a creative project, and I wanted to share it here.
