542 Project 3a: Art Inspiration

For this assignment I built a small statue out of Sculpey - a lost hobby of mine from high school. Here are some photos:

This piece was inspired, not by Dalí or Miró, but by Antoni Gaudí, whose work I was lucky enough to visit in Barcelona three years ago.

To me my little statue was about capturing the palpable creative space I felt when I was inside Gaudí's constructions. This was a really fun assignment.
