Above is a virtual fishtank restaurant in Japan.

Also check out this Virtual Fishtank that Nearlife did for the Museum of Science in Boston a few years ago.

What makes VirtualFishtank.com different from any other website is the ability to Build-Your-Own-Fish online and release them into the Virtual FishTank(TM) exhibits at the Museum Of Science, Boston, and the St. Louis Science Center.

I want to Build-My-Own-Fish and then feed it and tend to it with my mobile so that it is big and strong by the time I return! I think granting that sort of ownership to attendees is a great way to make a museum or aquarium "sticky," to keep people returning even before new exhibits or attractions are installed.
