Everywhere Display
There's a blurb in the Gadget section of this week's Time Magazine (the October 11th issue) about a wall mounted projector paired with a camera. The camera is suppose to track people's interaction with the visuals...like a touch screen keos on a larger scale. Anyone know more about this or seen a prototype?

Although there are a lot similar design like that, this one is really neat that they take advantage of the space by using a mirror.

It's a little interesting that it's a convex mirror, but mirror bouncing is common. Not much new here from what I can see, accept that it's a potential product with a big name behind it. Lot's of simlar stuff out there. Some examples:

Hi Shelby
I'm Senior Interactive Filmmaker at British Telecom in London - I'm interested in what you say about filmmaking for computers. We're doing quite a lot of this, for example...
* a retro 60's-style video quiz we did for the Tate this summer… http://www.tate.org.uk/britain/exhibitions/artandthe60s/66
* a "reverse interview" we've shot with a pop star called Holly Valance… http://www.movieactive.com/reverse_iv
(N.B. downloadable .exe demo only)
* Or a range of other things, from tours round temples in Thailand to interactive ads, all nestling happily together at my site… http://www.movieactive.com
More stuff coming soon for the Tate, National Theatre, British Film Institute, etc... Comments welcome!
all the best
Martin
