"War Photographer"

This documentary, I don't know, what can I say? 'This documentary changed my life' sounds so silly; but it has.

I'm fairly sure it's currently playing somewhere in LA.

Comments

this doc raises and confronts issues that pertain to gaming. questions of perspective (1st person, 3rd person, omniscient) and of subjectivity vs. objectivity.
of course, it speaks of many more things: one man's commitment to his principles, a hate-torn planet, the inherent contradictions prevalent in photographing suffering, and so on.
but again, the gaming/interactivity issues are very interestingly brought to the surface in this FILM.

"Every minute I was there, I wanted to flee. I did not want to see this. Would I cut and run, or would I deal with the responsibility of being there with a camera?"
(James Nachtwey)
