or, like the "ambient orb" (http://www.ambientdevices.com/cat/applications.html), the buddha is an embedded wireless object. it reads, keeps track of and interprets online data. for instance, the buddha's eyelids open and close, his finger twitches, his chest breathes air, in relation to activity taking place around the globe as organized, tracked and measured by amnesty.org and/or unicef.org, etc. etc.
