3D Bibim Bop

(Left eye: Red filter // Right eye: Blue filter)
It seems difficult to do an anaglyph if the shot itself contains a 'drastic' difference between foreground and background: since the foreground and background objects shifted by very different amounts, it's hard to achieve the right alignment.

Nice shot! I like how the bowl is right on the screen plane and the chopsticks poke your eyes out.
As far as 'drastic' differences between foreground and background: When objects are close they shift a lot; if you then try to place them on or near the screen plane (by superimposing their left & right views), any distant background objects will become widely separated.
Possible solutions: a. compromise by using less separation between your two cameras (flatten out everything a bit); b. move farther away and use a longer lens (this evens out the parallax so that there's less in the foreground, more in the background), or c. build your own sets & use forced perspective (so that distant objects aren't really distant).

thanks. should i experiment more with anaglyphic photography at this time, i'll probably choose a working style/methodology combining options "a" and "b".
option "c" though, could be really cool.
