IMD at GDC

It was a great year for IMD at the GDC -- not only did we all have a lot of fun at our yearly dinner, but there were no fewer than 6 panels and lectures featuring IMD students, alums or faculty. Here is the flOw team getting ready for their panel "From Classroom to Console."

Jenova also spoke out about independent games, and Kellee and Jenova gave a presentation about Cloud at "Fostering an Experimental Game." Justin Hall talked about Passively Multiplayer Games, and for my part, I ran the Curriculum workshop at the Education SIG tutorial.

I also played "The Metagame: a Battle of Videogame Smarts" on a panel filed with game design luminaries such as Warren Spector, Jon Blow, Clint Hocking, Marc LeBlanc, and Jesper Juul. Here is a shot of the winning team ...

Forgive me if I've missed anyone from IMD who presented ... it was such a huge conference, it was impossible to see it all!
