Grand Text Auto at the UCI Beall Center for Art + Technology
Noah Wardrip-Fruin, Mary Flanagan, Michael Mateas, Andrew Stern, Nick Montfort and Scott Rettberg will all be at the opening symposium for this exhibit. I can't go, because I'm booked that day, but I highly recommend a field trip for anyone who can. Among the pieces will be Mary Flanagan's giant Atari joystick and Michael Mateas' Facade VR.
The exhibit runs October 4-December 15, 2007. For more info: http://beallcenter.uci.edu/

I'll be driving down for the symposium + performance on Friday the 5th (leaving from USC around 11) - if anyone would like a ride get in touch.
