There's a help screen when you start it up, enough to get you started.
Screenshots are placed in the "test" directory, named "ScreenshotX" for single frames and "panX" for panoramas.
As mentioned, a lot of the behavior has been removed, and a lot of iffy features were (at least for the moment) turned off in the name of stability. This might explain some enigmatic assets in the Here Be Dragons directories.
That said, you can edit the terrain, just replace the terrain file with a greyscale .RAW of the same name, and make sure it's 1000 pixels by 1000 pixels. Darker pixels are lower terrain, lighter is higher, like a many other Digital Elevation Maps.
The auto-map within Here Be Dragons might not be accurate, it's on my list of things to improve.
Each time you start Here Be Dragons the screenshot counter resets, and will overwrite old files, so make sure to move and pictures you took to another folder or rename them if you want to keep them!
As usual, this is a highly untested piece of code (I've run it on about 3 machines) so let the downloader beware.
A lot of other things I probably should mention, I'll post as they come to me, but for now, enjoy!
