KirinTheDestroyers
KirinTheDestroyers is my Final Fantasy XI clan.
I have been the leader of this clan for about a year now, when it started it was about 15 members...now it has reached up into the 70+ range. That's a lot of people, I never thought it'd grow so large.
I have been working on a clan website lately, if you are interested in MMORPGS (or even if you aren't, and just are interested in games in general), check it out.

Why do people get so involved in MMORPGs? For me I think it's the interactivity with other people. When I was younger I used to love chatting in chat rooms. MMORPGs give that same chat, but also there are other levels of enjoyment.
For example, pride in your character. Pride in your clan. Defeating large monsters by working as a team. Sometimes this means 6, 12, 18, 36, or even 64 people. Sure there's a lot of lag when 64 people are all in one small area...but it's crazy to see that many people attacking a monster in a game, working together towards a common goal.
My clan just defeated one of the end game monsters in Final Fantasy XI which is a huge accomplishment for us because we are generally only a social clan. Others have done it before us and others will do it after us, but for the moment we are proud of ourselves for taking the next step.
