browser space @11:09 AM

very nice implementation of creating a unique space within a browser window. absolutely great design, with a relatively intuitive interface (for this type of thing). see? flash is not used only for evil.

i dont know. its neat that you can do it, but its still just eye candy for me. i dont know that there is a compelling reason to reinvent the interface for every site. flash makes sence to me in a presentation sense, but i really have a hard time getting into it as an informational tool on the web.

course, im pleased this site offers real links to their information - but then, that just seems like duplication on several levels, even if its dynamic content out of a database.

i dont hate flash and i know you dig it; ive just been on the bad end of too many real world projects to love it anymore.

I don't necessarily dig it all the time, but I am a proponent of getting away from the box, and at least looking at new, relevant ways to present information.

This was a great piece. The sense of the browser as an actual window, really opened up the space. I’m a flash junkie. I think compelling visual representations of data-space are the future. Frankly, in the present we rely pretty heavy on them (XP, OSX, etc.)

Will said it; we needed to continually explore new ways to present data.
