@swiscombe Well, I guess I had the same issue and, I would say that designer and artist are different.
I disagree. When it comes to games, the art is in the design and everything that it envelops.
It’s semantics, I suppose, since ”Artist” can be parsed into ”modeler”, ”texturer”, etc. It’s not to discount the art of design (which is its own can of worms in the ’art’ world)

Em…..I guess design is kinda personal so people can have different ways of doing it. And there’s definitely art IN it, while there are also people arguing that the process including the result should be art itself. But afa most designers are having users, they may deal more then just art. On the other hand, I don’t think the ”universal methodology” is not a kind of art tho :b
