Doing what Teddy does so it’ll show up for everyone:
@jgorham It’s a lot of tedious scheduling/time budgeting, heavy resource management, arbitrary timelines that are established. Here’s a random PDF with a work breakdown structure: http://files.asme.org/ProfessionalPractice/ProjectMgmt/ProjectMgmt/18329.pdf
@ydai I realize that it’s a standard for large projects, but to take something that I feel should be an extremely creative process and systemize it? That’s the issue I have a huge problem with.
@tdiefenbach The idea of pre-production, normal-, and post-production are all film, but they slap very big and arbitrary deadlines, which is very engineering. They talk about things they want players to experience, but they systematically test for it. There are more, but this note is getting long. I get it, but I don’t I like it.
