Check the books on the Parallax web site - Scott Edward's 'Programming and Customizing the BASIC Stamp Computer-2nd edition' is excellent & Matt Gilliland's two 'Cookbooks' look promising. Once we're actually moved into the lab we should initiate a library & will probably have to get a copy of most of the books on the page.

Also Practical Electronics for Inventors by Paul Scherz is an great resource - basic electronics info, lots of explanations & circuit diagrams, etc.
