Comments: vanity, thy name is camera phone
Vanity man, vanity! In some ways, it reminds me of "The Gold Coast" by Kim Stanley Robinson. In that book, much of daily/nightly activity, including copulation, is augmented by cameras at all angles providing live streams for those on camera to watch. It goes as far as some being unable to "hook up" without the video. Maybe we are not too far off...

This study seems to also reflect on the social status of UK girls who own phones as well.
