this looks nice -- I'd be wary of the fact it looks very specfic (non-extensible). I've always been a big fan of the phat boy ( http://www.yamaha.co.uk/xg/html/products/p_phatb.htm )
or if you really want to get crazy, the icube system is sweet -- can plug basically anything into it to use as a midi controller: http://i-cubex.com/catalog/index.php
but those may not be what you are looking for.

I think they're going for the "handcrafted" instrument look, which is an interesting approach for a technology product. The most interesting aspect of this is that apparently this company feels there are enough people doing video mixing that they can market a product specifically for it.
