how is living in a fictional world related to your thesis, exactly? Sorry, just can't picture it, as it seems like your thesis is all about tracking a physical reality.

in both cases, you are experiencing constructed realities laid overtop the real world.

in one, you control the content, in the other, you are a 'passive' player/observer.

i see your distinction but i think my way of viewing it is equally as valid.

it isnt exactly the same, but i think it is useful to try and notice other influences to draw from where possible.
