This is really cool -- this is one of my fascinations, too. One of the problems is when you start thinking about how you might do this from any other perspective other than the earth. The magnitudes of distance are so great. But wouldn't it be great to be able to stand on another planet and see an accurate, dynamic sky from that vantage point?!
