Cloud Camrea Mockup Updated

Today, I did a quick mock up about what the game gonna looks like. I'm very excited about the result. But I also encountered new chanllenge.
Check the movie first:

The cloud boy looks too tiny on the screen. I tried to put another representation about him close to the camera, like a over shoulder view. But I feel disturbing, because I can't concentrate on the cloud I'm controlling. So, where should the cloud boy be on the screen? I love suggestions and complains.
Update:
I added in the close up view, so actually player can scroll in and out freely by themselves at any time. But if they zoom out too much, the view will blocked by the higher clouds.

Another attemption to test out a lower angle with cloud boy's head and shoulder.

In responce of Tracy, here's a billboard with 2d cloud boy on it. The angel is tuned down a little bit too.

I like #2, I think the zooming functionality offers the best of both worlds. Ideally, I would like to see the close-up view angle more toward the horizon, if we can get away with draw distance and complexity issues on the tech side.
#3 is a fun view, but the cloud particles are in the way... I don't think you should be able to see them from this angle. It might also be nice in this view to have the boy be on the left side of the frame(rolling arms right) when turning right, and on the right side (rolling arms left) when turning left.

We can try all different ideas since it's real time in maya. We can do this on the coming meeting, colors, camera angles, avatar sizes...
Looking forward to it.

Awesome. This is going to rock. Maybe we could give Yun an aura? Or maybe as he grows in strength he becomes larger. His cloud trail could be more of a magical particle trail. Vince we need your music already!! You need to post it, imagine this with your score, WOW!
John get on it, I want to play it by this sunday. You can pull that off right?

The first thing that pops to mind is I feel like I should be able to interact with the terrain from that angle.
I really like that trail he leaves behind.
Have you tried it (the camera) with a shallower angle downward? How does that look?
I bet Jenova is familiar with this...but, what if he rode on a colored cloud to help distinguish his position while manipulating clouds?
In any case, exciting stuff. :)

WOO! When can I play? Right, I'll get on that...
Some comments
- It would be fun to identify and visit cool-looking islands with stone sculptures and monuments, then steal them with your tornado.
- Factories produce pollution... zap them... how else can you interact with the terrain?
- Gigantic compass rose in the middle of the ocean
- Are the top clouds layer 2 clouds?
Great job!
